I believe

My fundamental beliefs are as follows, these are the basic doctrines to which I hold…

1. One God who is a Spirit (Deut. 6:4).

2. One Lord, Jesus Christ the Son of God (Eph. 4:5-6).

3. Jesus is God & beside Him is no other person/God – (Duet. 6:4, 1 Tim 3:16).

4. One baptism, in the Name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).

5. The baptism of the Spirit is a gift to all believers (Acts 2:38-39).

6. We are saved by grace through faith, not of works Eph. 2:8

7. The church will be raptured before the Great Tribulation (Rev. 4:1, Rev 13:1).

8. The gifts of the Spirit are in operation today and have not ceased (1 Cor. 12).

9. The five fold ministry gifts are functional until Jesus returns (Eph. 4:11).

10. I believe in Heaven & Hell.

Hi Catherine, I just want you to know that God is right there. Call on the name of Jesus and He will answer you. Fisrt of all did you ask God about your move to Kansas City. He told us in proverbs in all of our ways to acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths. Don’t be so quick about making friends, listen to their talk and watch their actions, if their lives aren’t lining up with the Word of God you don’t need them as a friend, Jesus is your friend. Allow your relationship with HIm to grow closer and He will show you who to be friended. Don’t feel alone, because you are never alone, God is standing right by your side. He said in His Word that He will never leave you nor forsake you. When mother and father has forsaken you He will then pickyou up. Spend more time in your Word and learn more about the Father build your faith in Him. Anytime you are addressing Him, captiolize His Name. He is due the honor, the glory and the praise.

In Catholic school I learned God the Father,Son,Holy Spirit-they are all in one, like us,body soul spirit-to argue about 1 God,three seperate Gods, wow do you even know Jesus as your Savior, striving to be “right” arguing over elementary things that cause division and disunity-they will know we are Christians by our love for the brethern, not oh-they are deceived-they think God is 3 different Gods, they don’t deserve to be part of our religous group, click….So what if people don’t understand yet-lay down your own intrest of being so right and love keeps no record of wrong you people don’t seem to walk in love, but compitition with one another, who knows more of Gods word-try to remember not arguing,to bear good fruit-this is disturbing that someone would write half the bible to proove a point-I guess you win-I personally think you people need deliverance from something not good.

“you people” isn’t exactly the language of love. I am sure as a Catholic you know about all the people killed during the Crusades authorised in the name of The Pope. We may discuss scripture, have different views etc, but none of us would ever resort to violence. It is love to share the Word with one an other rather than brush error under the carpet.

I think it is funny how all the pharisees legalistic traditional folks are after you! All the religous ones-Count it all joy….I esp like when they don’t know what else to say then they say I’m praying for you brother-that is so funny to me-Ha Ha.

Mr. Yousef Barkat: I’ve never been to this site before, yet upon surfing around and reading about these sweet children in Nigeria, who are cast aside or murdered because their people believe they are witches, I ended up on this website. I just decided to read some of the posting here. I read yours. I love the Lord, and I long for the day the Lord comes. He has been good to me and my family. Well… I am not a minister or a pastor, I am work in progress, but I will pray to the Lord to bring you someone to minister to your people. I just realized this post was from 2009, but hey you are in my prays.

The Bible is the inerrant Word of God and is useful for the training and instruction of God’s people in the way of salvation.
