The International Facebook Revival

I had to write a post about the International Facebook Revival, it started life as a private video on Facebook, attracting 204 comments and 79 likes, it then became a Facebook Group which has 126 members.  So, what is it?

You can tell the world about this, you can tell the nations about that, tell them Jesus has come…

This is such a powerfully awesome clip!  The song goes: -
You can tell the world about this,
You can tell the nations about that,
Tell them Jesus has come,
Tell them that the Comforter has come,
It brings joy to my soul,
It brings joy to my soul (repeat till fire falls)
This song has so much [...]

Whatsover you do, do it in Jesus’ name – Bishop David Ellis

Bishop David Ellis preaching up a storm, touching on the significance of Jesus’ name.  I don’t think anyone can expound on the name of Jesus like an Apostolic preacher.  We love Jesus’ name so much, someone even accused me of making Jesus’ name into an idol recently. The thing is, the name of Jesus is [...]

Gibson Road Junior Choir, still speaking to my heart

My home church childrens choir, Bethel Gibson Road Junior Choir, celebrated 25 years a fortnight ago. The event was a blessing, we watched clips of us singing through the past 2 decades, worshipped together and shared testimonies reaching out to those who had fallen away. One of the clips, above, featured the choir generation just behind mine, I would call them the phase 3 juniors. They really tore it up with a rendition of Donnie McClurkin’s (Speak To My Heart).

A song of consecration, Ron Winans

Here is a song from a great retro-80’s era of Gospel before Gospel music was just a catchy beat, simple chorus and hook repeated over and over, and over and over. Here are lyrics, meaningful, heartfelt, anointed, inspired, moving, provoking, worshipful, godly, consecrated words to inspire you to live for God.

What’s love got to do with it: can you re-purpose a love song and offer it to God?

A friend sent me this clip today of Bishop Lester Love of Greater Anticoch church.
He is singing a medley of love songs written by sinners, for sinners and has re-edited them to sing to Jesus.
His argument is that the songs are love songs and what matters is who you sing them to.  So, when [...]

I was looking down then I started looking up

Today I felt overworked, overburdened and overloaded. I went out at lunch time to walk and medidate on the Lord, as I did started to pray but in my heart a complaint was going on about my predicament. Then as I walked with my head down I noticed 2 young homeless people sleeping rough, covered [...]

Your Grace and Mercy (Part 1): Thankful for every day I wake up alive.

As I woke up this morning the song ‘your grace & mercy’ was ringing in my ears. As I reflected upon the words ‘I’m living this moment because of You’ my mind started to go back to all the things God had brought and carried me through. Some of which I’ll be sharing [...]
