The Jesus Blog got listed as no. 63 in the WordPress.com growing blogs list for 21/02/09.  I noticed a massive uplift in traffic to the post on The Church of Google, supported by a healthy stream of visitors who saw the news posted on The Jesus Blog Twitter feed.

Twitter is shrinking the length of my blog posts.

Since starting the Twitter edition of the Jesus Blog my posts on WordPress seem to be getting shorter and shorter.  Is anyone else struck by this phenomenon?  Big shout out to the 32 people now following!  Including, one of the best on Twitter – What Would Jesus Tweet - check it out sometime.

Charles Darwin’s racist views of the coloured man

I was suprised to learn that Darwin viewed the black man as being an intermediate state between ape and the white man.  He held views which were racist and promoted a view that the white man was a superior, ‘more evolved’ race than the coloured people of the world.

The Athiest Bus Campaign

The Guardian Newspaper, has launched an advertising campaign to promote Athiest views. The campaign has been based on voluntary donations, akin to a political movement, and in 2 days smashed records on donation site JustGiving raising £83,000 (prior to Gift Aid).
