It’s time to start thinking about registering for Bethel Institute of Biblical Studies

“BIBS is filled with an atmosphere of fellowship with kindred minds. Inspired and focused teaching is always delivered at BIBS. It is a must for all God’s children, young and old. BIBS has enabled both my wife and I to minister in prisons, hospitals and homes and has prepared us for ministry. Use what is available to you, make wise use of your time and learn more about God.”

The Codex Sinaiticus project brings the oldest known Bible online, making it accessible to everyone.  It is quite fascinating to take a look at the old manuscripts, some of the books have been translated into English too, so you can read the translation alongside the original manusript.
The Codex Sinaiticus was interesting to me as it [...]

How many times is ‘fear not’ in the bible?

I recieved a Tweet today that “fear not” was in the Bible 365 times – apparently Joce Meyer teaches this.  I did a quick scan using eSword for the phrase “fear not” and it did not appear 365 times.  Instead, I saw it only 63 times.

Dwayne Trympf: I don’t pack a matic but I pack a Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

Yes‘.
Here is an extract [...]

Why the anointing breaks the yoke

A wonderful insight was shared this weekend at BIBS (Bethel Institute of Biblical Studies), we were given the reason behind the scripture: “the anointing breaks the yoke”.
Now, all good students of the Bible know that the yoke was a device put around the neck of cattle to make them work on pairs — the old [...]

I finally found a good study bible for iPhone called Mantis Study Bible

My search is over!
Mantis Study Bible is the best study bible available for iPhone, you can download it at the App Store.  What I like about it is the ability to add on modules such as the AMG Hebrew Greek Keyword Study Bible.
However, there is one downside.  They are charging for downloads of books that [...]
