I belong

I am a member of the family of God, the church universal, the kingdom of God.  The kingdom of God is made up of believers who have been born again as Jesus said by Water and Spirit (Jhn. 3:5).  The church is a collective of believers who have been buried in baptism in the Name of Jesus (Acts 2:38) and have recieved the promised Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:38, Acts 10:44-48).  All true genunine believers in Christ are people who are bearing Spiritual fruit – the fruit being love – and the segments of the fruit of love are listed in Gal 5:23.

Jesus is the true Vine, the Vine is the Church – His body – I belong to a branch of the Vine called ‘Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic (UK)’.  This is the earthly organisation to which I am affiliated and licensed as a minister of the gospel.  However, it could never fully consitiute or represent the entire body of Christ… it is but a small branch, and small section of His vast and unfathomable Spiritual body of faithful worshippers.

  1. I am trying to compose a short bio of Bishop C.A. Holdsworth for a conference starting this week, at which he’ll be speaking. Can anyone help me? I can’t seem to be able to find any info. Thanks.
