Farewell Bishop Arnold George Miller

One of God’s generals Bishop Arnold George Miller has fallen asleep.

Bishop Miller was one of the original 5 Bishops of Bethel United Church Apostolic (UK), overseeing the Northen District of churches. Bishop Miller was also a founder member of Gibson Road Church in Birmingham, under Bishop S A Dunn’s pastorate.

It was Bishop Miller (then Deacon Miller) who famously called Pastor Dunn in Baltimore Maryland to let him know Mr Sandbrook was ready to sell Gibson Road to the saints, and that Bishop should make the first bid.

Bishop Miller was a strong supporter of the brotherhood as Brotherhood Auxillary Bishop and would remind the sisters on brotherhood day that the men were going to show the sisters who God made first in their worship.

Bishop Miller leaves behind a large and blessed family. Please keep Mother Miller, children and grandchildren in your prayers.

I shall update this post as more information becomes available.

Dad was a lovely Man of God, a good Bishop, Overseer, Pastor and a great father and friend. I am blessed and honoured to be called his son. I will never forget him as long as I live. He will be greatly missed by me however I know he is in a better place with the Lord. God bless you Dad, I will always love you!
