Are Google’s views on abortion supressing Christian’s freedom of speech?

According to recent newspaper reports Google does not allow users to use its paid advertising service to promote ads that link abortion and religion i.e. by Christian groups seeking to discourage mothers from aborting their children, or promoting alternative options to those seeking an abortion.

This came as news to me. I didn’t think search engines had political or religious views. The implications if Google is allowed to filter what it thinks we can or can’t be exposed to could be massive. And could limit Christian’s freedom to express their voice in society and around the world.
